These changes shall take effect from the date mutually agreed between the association and TEBA. 1.1 “settlement agreement” means the provincial collective agreements listed below for the period beginning April 1, 2017: (a) assistance in resolving disputes arising from the local bargaining process where the parties to the collective agreement disagree as to whether a particular matter falls within local jurisdiction; (b) clarify the understanding of the association and TEBA with regard to centralised table rules; and (c) advice in the development and revision of collective agreements. CBE &CUPE Local #40 Collective Agreement 2017-2020 This process comes into effect on the day of signature and expires and will have no further force or effect once all collective agreements that begin on September 1, 2018 between the association and the school departments have been ratified. 13.1 A teacher shall be granted paid leave, provided that the employer reimburses by the association the actual expenses of the substitute, including the employer`s share of statutory dues, to perform the duties of an elected or appointed member of the Provincial Executive Council, the Discipline review and Practice Committees, and the Central and Local Bargaining Committees. 8.3.4 The employer shall make funds available to help schools keep busy during the lunch break and to take care of students when loading and unloading buses. The amount of funds made available is left to the discretion of the employer. The formula for allocating these funds to schools is defined by the employer after consultation with an allocation committee set up by the employer.
