In 1996 Riverside Gardens relocated to Emerald Bank to become the inaugural tenants of a new retail tourism site located a few kilometres out of town.  Being an empty cow paddock we had the great opportunity to design and build an award winning Retail Garden Centre and display garden incorporating a mini golf course around a tranquil lake.

Today, Riverside Gardens, Garden Centre has grown to become one of Victoria’s best, being judged the Best Medium Garden Centre of Victoria 3 years in a row. Our primary focus is on helping people enjoy gardening, supplying quality plants, garden care products, garden decor complimented with an extensive range of giftware and a strong local knowledge of horticulture. Our nursery stocks a huge range of quality plants including deciduous trees, evergreen and native trees, native and exotic plants, shrubs, groundcovers, roses, seedlings and indoor plants.

Riverside Gardens Garden Centre’s ‘Laugh a lot Links’ is not your usual mini golf course. Set in over 2 hectares of gardens, lawns and picnic areas our Mini Golf course is far from mini. The eighteen holes are placed throughout the gardens and offer a challenge for all ages as well as a relaxing stroll. The course and gardens are available for group bookings by appointment.

See if you’re up to the challenge as you wander through the gardens surrounding our tranquil lake. You are welcome to pack your own picnic and make use of the different lawn areas.

Open 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm.

Last game starts 1 hour before closing time.

Situated within our display gardens on the west side of the lake is our beautiful Wedding Lawn. With a heritage gazebo framed by two Chinese tallow trees and the lush foliage of trees as a backdrop, our wedding lawn has seen many a bride and groom exchange their vows in front of family and friends. Removed from the hustle and bustle and set amongst the gardens with room to relax, this venue is a wonderful setting for your special day. There is ample space for family and friends to gather to witness the occasion and some beautiful photo settings throughout the gardens.

Bookings are accepted in two hour blocks.
